A great short break in lovely Rome

Pros: Altiora is a really beautiful flat, with a modern design curated in every detail and a lovely terrace to enjoy the Roman warm weather. It’s in a perfect location for sightseeing and enjoying the night life in Trastevere. The host was very helpful and available.

Cons: The flat faces a street with a lively nightlife. It wasn’t a big deal for us since we were out every night but it can be quite noisy.

Pros: Perfect location in the heart of Trastevere. Communication with Marta was easy and she met us at the apartment as organised.

Cons: The shower in the second bathroom was a massage shower. It ran hot, couldn’t work out how to change this. Instructions would’ve been handy.

If you’re sensitive to noise or value a quiet night’s sleep, you might want to think twice before booking.

Pros: Loved my stay here! The location is super convenient, the place was spotless, and the design is beautiful — it really felt like home. Super cozy and comfortable. The host, Marta, was very friendly and helped arrange airport transfers for us, which made everything so much easier.

Cons: The only downside was the noise at night. The apartment is right above a lively food street, which gets extremely loud in the evenings. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is very poor — we couldn’t sleep at all, as the music and street noise often went on until around 3:30 AM. After a few sleepless nights, I was exhausted during the day, and it really affected our whole trip.
