Perfect for the price and location - but with trade-offs

Pros: The location was excellent: in the heart of Trastevere and on a street that feels busy but not so busy that it keeps you up at night. The building is what you imagine Italy looks like, very Talented Mr Ripley, with a little courtyard and all. The flat is very clean, the two bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Communication from the owners was great, and they allowed us an early check in and a slightly later check-out.

Cons: Not exactly a dislike but a warning: there isn’t much space for hanging out in this flat. There is a small kitchen with a sofa and no natural light. This wasn’t at all a problem for us as we only really slept at the place and it was perfect for that; but if you’re looking for somewhere to eg have breakfast with friends in the morning or spend an evening - this flat is not for you.

Would stay here again

Pros: Location was amazing, right outside the door is the best bars, restaurants, deli and a short walk is a lovely square with even more options. Area felt safe and easy to get to all the main spots of Rome, while we mainly caught taxis I believe the public transport options were good too. Apartment itself had heaps of room for bag storage, beds comfortable and the two bathrooms were helpful

Cons: Nothing, neighbours were friendly and quiet.

Fabulous roomy apartment in great location and very helpful staff

Pros: Great location, very comfortable beds, a bathroom each with plenty of hot water, nice toiletries, lovely fluffy white towels. Well equipped kitchen.

Cons: The plug in air fresheners.

Apartment is in a great location for restaurants and sight seeing.

Pros: Location was great for accessing everything we wanted to see. Loads of lovely restaurants nearby. Accommodation clean and tidy. Host was really helpful and check in very straightforward.

Cons: Only issue we had was noisy neighbours (arguing in the middle of the night) which was just bad luck but did mean we had a few broken nights sleep

Pros: O apartamento é excelente, bem equipado e funcional. Além disso, a localização é maravilhosa. A anfitriã muito atenciosa e cuidadosa. Adoramos!

Cons: Apenas um detalhe, o mecanismo do sofá nos pareceu estar com algum defeito, porque o assento descia quando sentávamos. Só isso. No mais, nota 10!

Pros: Goed onderhouden, complete inrichting, gelet op details, aardige en snelle host

Cons: Enige verbeterpuntjes die we konden bedenken zijn dat we een badmat misten in de badkamer en wat meer haakjes en opbergruimte in de badkamer.
