S.Pietro Elvira's retro apartment

Pros: Very nice and responsive hosts and a beautifully placed apartment. Was a great choice for our week in Rome!

Cons: The only detail was that the hosts activate the heating remotely which made us ask them every evening to turn it on. But they always reacted immediately.

A fantastic apartment

Pros: The apartment was clean, comfortable, in a great location and the host was so welcoming and helpful. As a family of 4 the kids loved it (especially the little lift to the apartment floor). It had all amenities in the apartment and also some fantastic shops, bars and restaurants all around. It’s a short walk from the nearby train station (not metro station) which was really helpful. The host advised us of some local places to eat and checked in on us via WhatsApp during the stay which was nice. It’s approx 8 minute walk to St Peter’s Square, 25 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and a 50 minute walk to the Colosseum, but we were able to get an uber very easily at night. We couldn’t recommend this apartment enough. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Rome!

Fantastic location. Comfortable flat.

Pros: The location was fantastic, less than 10 minute walk to the Vatican and easily walkable onto the other side of the river. Very comfortable flat. The owner was very nice and showed me around the neighbourhood on my arrival.

The only place to stay when you want to visit the Vatican!

Pros: Location was unbeatable! Beautiful & warm apartment that felt Ike home instantly. Above all, the host Mariella was 5-star! Super lovely, responsive and very accommodating and helpful! Thank you, Mariella for your kindness!

Perfect place for Rome/Vatican Exploration

Pros: Beautiful and clean apartment with a nice bedroom, cosy living room and even a kitchen. The location is just outside Vatican City and perfect for walking around. Thank you, Mariella home baked apple pie, wine and excellent food recommendations.

Lovely Apartment with Character and Convenience

Pros: The apartment was beautiful—vintage charm, spacious, and in an absolutely amazing location. Just a 5–10 minute walk to the Vatican, with plenty of character and convenience. The place was clean, and the welcome touches (a free bottle of wine, water, and some snacks) were really appreciated!

Cons: It can be a bit noisy at night due to nearby bars and restaurants, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Also, a small heads-up: the supermarket across the street is quite pricey, so maybe check out other options nearby. The host was helpful and communicative, though a little on the proactive side—sent a WhatsApp message after the first night and again a week later as a reminder to leave a review. Not a big issue, but something to note.

Pros: The location was fantastic and the host was even better. Amenities had everything we needed. Water temperature and pressure were ideal and the place when we arrived was immaculate. The host treated us like family.

A beautiful apartment

Pros: The location is perfect for visitors to the Vatican. For other destinations, you can take bus line 64, which stops right in front of the apartment and takes you to central Rome and Termini Station. Kind and lovely host.
