Genuine Roman apartment in the heart of Trastevere

Pros: Very traditional Roman apartment in the heart of Trastevere. Our hosts left everything we could need, waters, coffee tabs, dishwasher tablets etc... Quite easy to get to the centre of historic Rome by bus. Very clean and genuine place. Do read the description as it describes it very well.

Cons: Not that we didn't like it but be aware that it's in a busy area so some noise of people talking at night.

Best location in Travestere

Pros: The best location in Travestere. Only minutes from restaurants and the main square. Gelateria conveniently located next door. The apartment was very spacious, beautiful and clean. The host was lovely. Quick 12-15 minute trip to Spanish Steps by taxi. Will definitely book again when in Italy.

Cons: Ensure you close the small doors in the elevator so others can use the elevator.

Our oasis in the craziness that is Rome

Pros: The location next to different bus stops and tranvía also 2 steps from the heart of Trastevere. Also the apartment was spotless and the communication with the hostess was fantastic. The system to access the apartment is also very convenient.

Cons: The shower was a bit small and due to the location there were noises from the street at night even though the windows seem good, but nothing we couldn’t solve with earplugs :)

A comfortable home in gorgeous Trastevere

Pros: We loved our stay at Casa Rossi Roma. The apartment is very spacious, especially for central Rome, and it is beautifully furnished and appointed. We love the Trastevere area, so the localion was wonderful. We were greeted with a gift and a charming note which was a delight, and at all times we felt comfortable and welcome. The beds were great. Our very tall daughter found the second bed a little short, but she slept very well in spite of that. We will be glad to come back to Casa Rossi Roma next time we visit wonderful Rome

Cons: As older travellers we try and book places with a lift so we can avoid carrying luggage upstairs, especially at the end of a long holiday. So it was a bit of a surprise to find that we needed to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to the lift. Not a deal breaker for us because we had our daughter to help, but if we had been on our own we'd have been a bit stuck

Fantastic location and apartment for the beautiful city of Rome

Pros: the location of the apartment is fantastic, very spacious apartment with everything you can need for the stay. the owner was so supportive with any requests for info and helped with taxis

Cons: the air conditioning was loud and kept clicking in and out throughout the night. apart from them I couldn’t complain about

Pros: Very central location in local neighbourhood with restaurants, shops and bus stop close by - easy to get to many tourist spots
