La Maison di Trastevere

Pros: Nice apartment in an excellent location. We were given a free complementary bottle of wine.

Cons: Apartment is on the 4th floor. So it can get tiyiring especially to take luggage up to the apartment. Also apartment had some missing utensils like wine opener and bottle openers.

Pros: Reasonable priced apartment in the middle of Trastevere. It is not very big, but it is a great place to discover the surroundings in Rome. Checking in went smooth, with a complimentary bottle of wine from the host.

Great find in and awesome location.

Pros: Great location. Host was excellent with communication. Air conditioning worked well

Cons: We didn’t mind the stairs but be aware there are 8 flights to get to the 4th floor

Pros: The house was very cute and very comfortable. Host was sweet enough to welcome us with a bottle of yummy wine! We only stayed for a couple nights so didn’t use all of the amenities like the big fridge and kitchen, but it seemed to have everything you’d need for a longer stay. AC was nice. Location was perfect for great food within walking distance and taking scooters to the coliseum and trevi fountain. Overall great!

Cons: We had quite a bit to bring to our room so the 100 stairs, 4th floor with no elevator/lift was not convenient. Also, the information says two rooms with two double beds which was not the case. The beds were however, the most comfortable we’ve had in the two months and many stays in Italy.

Perfect location

Pros: Perfect location in Trastevere. All major sights in walking distance (2km). Spacious rooms. Friendly hosts. The communication and check-in were smooth.

Cons: Trastevere is a loud area (nightlife & traffic), however, that was clear to us in advance.

Great location and fits for a family of four people

Pros: We had a really nice stay. Serena is a super host. It was easy to get into the apartment. Serena made sure we were in and everything was in order. She is available on WhatsApp and responds very quickly. We had no hot water the first morning. It was resolved within a few hours - even though it was Sunday. So we can only praise that. The apartment is easy to return to after a whole day out in the City. The area holds many wonderful restaurants and you should visit Trastevere when going to Rome. It is a beautiful area.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. We were happy with the apartment. But if you have difficulty with stairs or are very sensitive to sounds from traffic, then you should consider it. It didn't bother us.

Great location and comfy beds.

Pros: Location not pretty but very handy to everything. On 4th floor with no lift. We didn’t mind this at all but a big consideration for some.

Cons: Kettle very slow to boil. Water pressure in kitchen poor.

Great Family Space

Pros: What a wonderful space! The kitchen was well set up for us to cook, with lots of dishes, cutlery etc. There was a large TV, which is a bonus when travelling with young people, and it allows you to calm your brain after an exciting day in Rome.

Cons: The single beds could use an upgrade as they were a little hard on the back, but not terrible... Other than that, it was an excellent choice!

Pros: Superb location, very well situated to get to everywhere in Rome. The apartment is full of character and has everything you need. We would definitely recommend and return!

Great location and accommodating host.

Pros: Close to everything. Great instructions and welcome wine on arrival was very much appreciated.

Cons: 92 steps to apartment. No elevator. Good exercise but tough with luggage
