Pros: It is very central and really affordable for its price, even though I booked it 3 days before Im flying to Rome. I stayed for 3 nights and had no issues at all. The check-in was smooth and Gino's instructions were clear. Was also able to check in early,you just have to ask and inform the host about the time of your arrival and ask for its availability if its suitable for early check in. Luckily in my case, it was available to check in at 1pm instead of 3pm. Nice and cosy space and nicely located a minute away from the Pantheon too.

Pros: Beautiful, traditional apartment in a fantastic location, central to explore everything by foot. Bus stop right out the front for number 62 or 64 to the vatican and shopping street. Guys in the restaurant downstairs (on the same side) were fantastic. Loved this quaint little apartment.

Nice neat apartment in the heart of Rome

Pros: Amazing location, so central to all the sites and great local restaurants. The apartment was nice and neat, enough for 2-3 nights.

Cons: The apartment was fairly basic but had all the essentials so perfect for a few nights. Hot water ran out when second person had shower so had to stagger showers during the day.

My absolute recommendation for a visit to the Roma Sacra.

Pros: Very nice two-story apartment in the center of Rome. Very close to public transportation, which is the best way to get around Rome. Excellent bar for breakfast 50 meters away (FrullatiPascucci) and excellent trattoria just below (Il Lucano) where locals also eat. Thanks to the air conditioning, the windows can be closed at night and the street noise is bearable. But don't forget, you are in Rome :-) My absolute recommendation for a visit to the Roma Sacra. We will be back!

Cons: Just because many people read negative reviews more often than good ones: Gino, the owner, sends you a very long and detailed description for all possible situations after payment. How to turn on the air conditioning, which switch is for the heating, etc. You are not in a hotel! So you better read them very carefully and have a perfect stay in Gino's apartment. Really no complaints!
