Castel Sant Angelo's Harmonious Apartment

Great base for the Vatican and not far to the centre of Rome. The interior needs a bit of TLC

Pros: The location near to the Vatican is excellent, a few minutes' walk to St Peter's Square and a Metro station just a couple of minutes away. Plenty of restaurants close by, and only a little more expensive than some in Rome.

Cons: The accommodation itself needs a bit of maintenance. Simple, but annoying things - the toilet seat wasn't fixed properly, ok only if you have great balance, the kitchen tap was also more moveable than it should have been. The bathroom is very narrow, a little too cosy.

Pros: Excellent location!Very close to Vatican and St Peter's Basilica. Lots of restaurants close by and many shops for good italian finds!And it's very quite at night due to flat not facing the street.All you need for a stay in Rome really.Excellent value for the money.

Pros: Quiet apartment as windows face an internal courtyard and no noise from road, very good location and walking distance to Vatican and ottaviano metro. Host was responsive

Cons: Nothing much really, just the shower unit is quite small

What a gem, in a great neighbourhood

Pros: Fantastic authentic apartment with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Loved the neighbourhood. Close enough to main sites, very close to Vatican, but without the crowds and English speaking tourists of the old town. Great restaurants near the apartment. A/C works well and the courtyard is cool on hot days. Rossana was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Cons: As others have mentioned, the bathroom is small. It's newly renovated though, with modern clean tiles. The toilet takes a few pushes to flush.

Pros: Fantastic host! Prime location steps away from the Vatican and metro station. The apartment's position at the back of the building ensures a peaceful stay despite its central location.

Pros: Accommodation met expectations, without problems. Clear self-service check-in, immediate response of the host to messages. Near the metro station, not far from the Vatican, lots of restaurants around. Quiet to be with windows to the yard, comfortable beds. We knew about the small shower corner from previous reviews. (if you don't have a problem with the size of the seat on the plane, you won't have a problem with the shower either).

Pros: Ms Francesca was very accommodating and responds to messages really quick which is very good. Self check-in was easy. The apartment has everything a family would need. It has kitchen, so when you feel like making your own food for breakfast, you can do it. If you feel lazy cooking, restaurants and pizza places are very accessible. Supermarkets are just minutes away. The 2 bedrooms were spacious, with big beds and very comfortable pillow 😀 not the usual pillow that becomes really flat once you lie on it 😉 Vatican, Castel Sant Angelo and other popular places to visit in rome are accessible from the apartment. Neighbourhood was quiet and safe. We travelled with our 3 and 4 year old kids and they managed to walk from the apartment to castel sant angelo, the pantheon and trevi fountain. 😊 Ottaviano Metrostation is very near, you can take it to go to The Colloseum.

Загалом дуже всім задоволений, за такі гроші це найкращий варіант який можна знайти.

Pros: Розташування просто чудове, недалеко до двох станцій метро та, основне, у 5-ти хвилинах хотьби до Ватикану. Дуже ще сподобалось, що у помешкані були кондиціонери, які врятували нас від римської літньої жари.
