Lovely stay in a typical Roman apartment in the heart of the city.

Pros: A beautiful apartment, decorated with a lot of taste, books, art works, with beautiful views of Roman roofs. It is also perfectly located in the nicest area of Rome and could not be more center.

Cons: The apartment was generally very clean but the kitchen area (the fridge and the table cloth on the dining room had not been cleaned). It would have been nice to get a second set of towels for a stay of six days. Unfortunately there was work in the building with hammering in the morning, not the best noise to wake up to.

Pros: The apartment is exceptional when you look at the furniture, the 2 lovely terraces and the flowers all around. Very unique and Italian in a non rustic way. Very tasty pictures on the walls and for the reading lovers a lot of Art related papers. I did even enjoy the 5th high floor without an elevator that was a good exercise after the Italian daily food that you can enjoy nearby.

Cons: Depending on your preferences, what you need to take into account is that the kitchen is not the newest one, but fully equipped and clean.

Beautiful walk up apartment in a perfect location.

Pros: An exceptionally beautiful apartment with two balconies. This is someone’s home with a lifetime collection of furnishings and objects. We felt comfortable and honored to spend a week there. Also a perfect location just off the Campo de Fiori.

Cons: You do have to work for it. It is on the top floor of a Rome walk-up. I’m no spring chicken, but I’d do it again.
