Domus Mariposa

Big thanks to Domus Mariposa, Alessandra and her neighbours, Nadia and Tonino, for the hospitality.

Pros: Domus Mariposa is very close to metro line A, to two or three bus lines and to the Vatican city. It was very clean and very cozy. You feel like home. The neighbourhood is calm with basic amenities available (24h super market). Neighbours next door, Nadia and Tonino, are very kind and always there to help you out with everything or just say a warm buongiorno. I would definitely go back to Rome to stay there.

Cons: If it would be possible to have cable connection to the internet (along with wi-fi connection, which is available), that would facilitate free lancers who work online on video calls.

Pros: Amazing apartment. Clean, large, and lovely. I can't praise it enough. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: Location is excellent, it is about at the third street from Vatican museums. To reach museums you have about 20 minutes of walk. There are few very interesting Pizza and other restorans nearby. Metro station is near - less than 10 minutes walk. City centre starts from 4th stop of metro line. Therea are a hill near stay from whom is larger part of the city visible. Elevator in the building do not start from the ground floor. You have to climb upstairs to rich the elevator. This means if you have heavy luggage like we had, strong husband (like myself) is irreplaceable. All facilities in the flat are new.

Wonderful and well equipped place, near everything and super clean

Pros: Nadia welcomed us very nicely and kindly, she guided us through the whole house and showed us how everything works. All utensils and furniture were in perfect state, the kitchen had everything we needed and a nice couch and tv to relax after a long summer day.

Pros: The host was very nice and cooperative. Mrs Nadia, who welcomed us was a darling! The apartament was clean, spacious. It had everything we needed. Surely will come again!

Pros: The property is in a sparkling condition, you have everything you need, a comfty bed, a spacious bathroom, a small kitchenette, TV. The host is friendly and always available. The location is superb, definitely a jewel.

Cons: It was a little bit noisy during the night. But in reality the apartment is more than excellent

Pros: Apartment was clean. It s situated in a quiet area, however, still central, next to the Vatican and Metro station. Recommended!

Cons: Everything was good.

Great new years stay in Rome

Pros: The Appartment is ~2km from the Center Piazza de Popolo. The host was always available by whatsapp, replies immediatly and is very kind. The appartment has all you need. It is very clean and quiet. Perfect base to conquer Rome.

Pros: Location is excellent, very close to metro line A and in walking distance to Vatican. The appartment is spacious, perfectly clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is completelly equiped with everything needed for a short stay. The communication with careful and very helpful owner was very good. We also appreciate the neighbour Nadia who gave us the key and asked every day if everything was OK. When we return to Rome again, we would certainly like to stay in this appartment.

Pros: My stay at Domus Mariposa was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Alessandra made us feel right at home. The apartment was exceptionally clean and cozy, with everything perfectly arranged to make us comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better, putting us right in the heart of everything we wanted to see and do. One especially thoughtful touch was that Alessandra left us two umbrellas when she saw rain was forecasted for the weekend. We really appreciated the gesture! I would highly recommend Domus Mariposa to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming stay. We’ll definitely be returning!
