Pros: The host was great. They carried our bags up. We could check in early. The view was amazing.The Pope waved to us every morning. The private terrace meant that this was the best place we stayed in Italy. It was great to come back to after long days in the tourist trap that is Rome. The bed was a sofa bed but it was really comfortable - and believe me, my wife has high standards. Rome itself is pretty awful, but this apartment made the trip worth it.
Cons: There are 85 steps. Good exercise, but it certainly will weed out the infirm and unfit. You don't get a view without climbing. One very minor gripe is that the garbage tin was full when we got there. I presume this was a rare oversight. The bathroom was small, but with this view nobody is going to spend much time there.

Amazing, authentic Rome apartment
Pros: The location and the amazing rooftop patio. The host was very helpful and communication was exceptional!
Cons: The stairs were a challenge with luggage but the views were worth it!

💎 Hidden Gem of Rome
Pros: The place is a hidden gem of Rome. Our stay was exceptional and far beyond what we expected. Matilde is an amazing host who took care of every detail and made us feel completely at home for these few days. The moment you open the window and see the St. Peter's Basilica within reach is truly mind-blowing — as is the panoramic view from the terrace, which makes any moment spent there feel special. If you get the chance to stay there, just do it!

Stunning view in a perfect location
Pros: I had a fantastic stay. The host is extremely lovely and welcoming, and the location and view are unbeatable. The apartment has everything you need and a very cozy, pleasant atmosphere. I would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend this place.

Awesome View and Very Comfortable
Pros: My husband and I stayed at the apartment for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not only did we have the magnificent view of St Peter's Basillica and even the Pope's apartment, it was only a five minute walk to the security entrance at Via di Porta Angelica. We were able to go everyday at our leisure! If you want to know what a great value this apartment is, check out the prices at Hotel Bramante which is across the street and has no view. It is 85 steps from the ground floor to the apartment which is quite doable. There are tons of restaurants and shops only a block away at Borgo Pio. We found the a/c more than adequate for the 85+ degree days. We stayed at the B Place Hotel prior to the apartment and our hotel room was only half the size of this apartment. Finally, our host, Matilde, was very responsive and helpful prior to and during our stay.

Fantastica notte vista San Pietro!
Pros: Abbiamo soggiornato una notte e saremmo volentieri rimasti più giorni. L’appartamento è accogliente, pulito e ben organizzato. L’host è sempre disponibile, gentile e pronta ad aiutare con qualsiasi necessità. La vera meraviglia è la finestra della camera da letto: quando ti svegli, hai la Cupola di San Pietro proprio davanti agli occhi. Anche la terrazza è stupenda: ampia, tranquilla e perfetta per colazioni o aperitivi all’aperto. La vista sui tetti della città è splendida, e si scorgono anche Castel Sant’Angelo e Piazza Venezia, un dettaglio che rende l’atmosfera davvero speciale. È vero, bisogna salire cinque piani di scale… ma ne vale assolutamente la pena! una vista impagabile su Roma non capita una seconda volta. Consigliatissimo

Amazing views and very friendly host!
Pros: Amazing location with incredible views of both the Vatican and Castel St Angelo! Very cute studio apartment with kitchenette, air conditioning and large terrace! Our favorite part was enjoying an aperitivo drink on the rooftop terrace at night! The host was very responsive and friendly when greeting me during check in. I highly recommend this property! *Host made us aware ahead of time, but it is not an elevator building therefore you must be able to walk up stairs to reach apartment
