Pros: I highly recommend staying in this apartment. What we especially liked was the easy and smooth communication with the owner and the close proximity to the Vatican. There is also a well-prepared booklet summarizing the most important information about the apartment and staying in Rome, which was very helpful.

Highly recommend, is an outstanding location especially for anything related to the Vatican. Apartment has lots of space

Pros: Amazing location (located right on the main road between the Ottaviano train station and the Vatican) Lots of space (large bedrooms, large living room). Has a dining room table as well as a living room table. Large full size fridge with freezer as well 5th floor that is lift accessible (although lift is small so only allows 2 pax at a time)

Cons: Single physical key (typical for apartments in Italy) but may make it difficult for group to seperate, especially since the front door downstairs also requires a key Getting rid of rubbish, it can accumulate quickly and rubbish is disposed of on side streets (just a bit more inconvenient) Scaffolding on windows was present at time of stay (but this was communicated to us beforehand so no issues)

Centrally located, good sized accomodation available at short notice with very proactive staff supporting.

Pros: Central location. Good size for a family of 4. Very responsive and pro active staff.

Cons: All window views covered in scaffold. Fixtures and fittings felt tired and need of upgrade.

Pros: The apartment is very spacious and well-appointed. It is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Vatican, the Ottaviano metro station, and a local butcher shop. Additionally, there is a supermarket located directly below the apartment, making it extremely convenient for daily needs.

Cons: Please note that construction is still ongoing, so all the windows are currently covered. Additionally, the electricity in the apartment occasionally shuts off, possibly due to an issue when using the kettle or microwave.However, there is a guide provided on how to restore the power

Perfect Choice

Pros: Fabulous location. Easy to navigate on foot to some of Romes most iconic attractions. Right next door almost to St Peter’s, and the Vatican museum. Supermarket next door. Shops and cafe in the street. Bedroom set up was great for a family of 6.

Choose ChatnChill Vatican

Pros: The property was very comfortable with all facilities for an enjoyable stay in a great location. The STANDOUT is the host Gabriele! Even prior to stay Gabriele showed that he is a gracious and hospitable host. Nothing was too much trouble and our needs were attended to promptly. When one of our group had a personal need which required medical attention Gabriele was proactive and went over and above in assisting us.
