Domus Titiana Amazing Apartment in Trastevere

Very helpful and friendly owners, it was a fantastic stay. I was visiting with my 2 sons, and all 3 of us loved it

Pros: Had everything we needed, in an excellent location

Cons: The towels and bedding were ok, but could have been better.

Cons: I'm a bit stiff, so 2 flights of stairs and on much room on the mezzanine floor only suitable for children young people, but lots of other sleeping space.

Great place to stay, I recommend.

Comfortable apartment in vibrant Travastere

Pros: Location was excellent. Lots of fun to be had walking the streets in the evenings. Also walked to all Rome highlights from accommodation and taxi rank close by for getting to the airport.

Cons: Lots of bars and restaurants mean that there is some night time noise - we knew this prior to booking but would not have changed our accommodation choice.

Pros: The apartment was clean and very nice. Also, it is close to all major attractions.

Rome was buzzing , a bit busy with long lines - our apartment was a real retreat

Pros: Location was great , comfortable and clean , wonderful to have a washing machine.

Cons: 40 steps up to the apartment with baggage was the only negative to but it we were there for a couple of days so only had to do it the once . Our host had left the taxi number but we couldn’t connect to it so had to hunt down a taxi - some info about where to find one would have been great.

Cons: It is a great one bedroom apartment, but not appropriate for 3 single friends. No air con outside the bedroom where the loft and cot are located.

Pros: We loved the location and how beautiful and spacious it is!

Cons: AC works great in the bed room but the living room gets quite heated. It was also during a very hot week and David went out of his way to make sure we get fans and a comfortable stay.

I would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Pros: Great location with many restaurants in the nearby streets. Great wine shop on the corner. The host was very responsive. Perfect amount of space for myself and two teenagers. My son loved the loft! There is also a taxi stand very nearby, making it easy to get across town.

Cons: The washer was not working properly. Although that was disappointing, the host was very quick to come over to see for himself and call a repairman. I would recommend leaving some instructions for the air conditioner as it was not intuitive. We could not even get it to adjust or to turn off!

A wonderful stay in the heart of Trastevere

Pros: This was the perfect home away from home in Trastevere! Communication with the host was always quick and they patiently answered any questions we had. On arrival the apartment was accessed through a lockbox so it was easy and quick with no stress about waiting for someone or being late (especially for flights and guests without mobile phone access). The location could not be better…right in the heart of Trastevere but on a quieter street away from the action. With the windows closed, very little noise could be heard from the street. The apartment was very well equipped with loads of storage space in the main bedroom. The second bedroom is a loft with very low ceiling so it is really only a sleeping space. But the mattress was comfortable and we (2 adults) slept well every night. Wifi was good - my husband had to work everyday and he was able to conduct meetings without any issues. We would stay again in heartbeat! Thank you !!

Cons: People with any type of mobility issues (or heavy luggage) should be aware that there are two flights of steep steps up to the apartment and the 2nd loft bedroom is accessed via steep narrow spiral steps. We couldn't get the washing machine to work properly (no centrifuge cycle). I'm sure there is an easy explanation or setting, but we had seen a laundromat nearby so we just washed there in 30 min and hung to dry at home. If there is a good setting for the machine, maybe a sheet with a short set of instructions would be useful. Washing machines are always an adventure!! :-)
